You never drive your rig in the same environment or same weather conditions. So why should your lights only be suitable for one situation? “One size fits all” lighting has to come to an end. This is why TYRI came out with the INTELLilight.
INTELLilight allows for on-the-fly adjustments in color temperature, brightness, beam pattern, and has the ability to group and re-group multiple set of lights for different lighting configurations. These features create various light outputs that can be customized for the situation and tailored for different conditions.
Adjusting Color Temperature
A light’s color temperature can affect its performance in different scenarios. For example, a warmer color temperature is better in low-visibility situations like fog or dust. A cooler temperature is better for long distances. With INTELLilight, you can change the color temperature based upon the conditions from 2,700 to 6,500K. This eliminates the need to swap lenses from amber to clear or to have multiple sets of lights for different conditions saving you money and time.
Adjusting Intensity
You don’t always need the maximum amount of light—but it’s a good thing to have. INTELLilight lets you change the amount of light you need. These lights produce up to 2,900 effective lumens (eLumens) so you can use the amount of light you choose. For example, if you’re at camp, you may want to have a dimmer beam to illuminate your site. But once back on the trail, you’ll want all the light you can get. INTELLilight lets that happen.
Changing Beam Patterns
INTELLilight provides the flexibility of different beam patterns; you’re not locked into spots or floods. In fact, these lights provide five different light patterns:
- Narrow Symmetric – Maximum distance
- Medium Symmetric – Medium distance
- Wide Symmetric – short distance (more of a flood/fog beam)
- Medium Asymmetric – use case?
- Wide Asymmetric – use case?
These changeable patterns let you adjust the lights to the everchanging terrain or conditions making them the most versatile lights on the market. Blasting through the dunes? Use the narrow symmetric pattern. Low visibility in fog or dust? Switch to wide symmetric. Again, INTELLilight reduces the need for multiple lights with various patterns saving you cash.
Group and Regroup
If you choose to run multiple sets of INTELLilight units, you can use the app or a remote to group and regroup an indefinite number of lights in a wireless mesh network. If you had these lights on the front, side, and rear of the vehicle, you can dim certain lights if you only need illumination in a certain space. Want more lights on the side at camp? Dim the fronts and have more power on the sides, and vice versa.
Wireless Operation: Remote or App Control
Another innovative INTELLilight feature is its wireless control—and you have options. You can download the easy-to-use app and operate the lights that way. You will have full control over with the app with all of the above-mentioned features, all on your smart phone.
If you prefer, TYRI offers the INTELLilight remote control (sold separately). This is a stand-alone remote to operate the lamps without a smart phone. Keep it in your console or glovebox and control your lights at the press of a button.
INTELLilight Specs and Features
The INTELLilight lamps feature a rugged cast-aluminum housing with a durable polycarbonate lens and built-in waterproof Deutch connectors for maximum reliability. Taking things a step further, they have overheating, over-voltage, and polarity protection, are CE certified, and are damped to absorb vibration. Plus, these lights have to live up to TYRI’s rigorous testing standards. This includes a 500-hour salt-spray test, brutal vibration and shock testing, IP69k waterproofing, and a variety of electro-magnetic interference tests. All this ensures the INTELLilight isn’t just high-tech, but one of the most durable products on the off-road lighting market. If these lights are good enough for the mining, construction, and military markets, they’ll stand up to the harshest off-road use.
